The Legacy Remediation Team completed a four-week bioremediation project for Murex Environmental at a multi-tenant industrial property in Orange County, California. The primary groundwater contaminants of concern (COCs) were PCE, TCE and cis-1,2-DCE.
The selected remediation approach used enhanced reductive dechlorination (ERD) with bioaugmentation. Treatment products included Newman Zone 55 emulsified vegetable oil (EVO) and SDC-9 Microbial Culture, provided by RNAS Remediation Products and C.E.R.E.S. Corporation.
